Beautiful house, great location and staff was FANTASTIC!! Only complaint would be that the outdoor ‘games’ such as the foosball table and the darts for dart board were missing (and the outdoor TV wasn’t working). Nonetheless, we had a fabulous stay and would highly recommend!

Our stay was very enjoyable. The staff members, Tania, Wanda & Cristina welcomed us with open arms and the food was exquisite and on point. The cleanliness of the house was not to par for a house of this magnitude and price. It really needs some attention to detail and TLC. It rained several days during our stay and the patio roof leaks in different areas. The cabana bathroom was not cleaned before our arrival. Sadly the kitchen cabinets are falling apart (handles dangling and most of all of the white veneer of the cabinets were cracked). Again, a little TLC can take care of these small problems to make this home a true gem. The Torres’

As the villa includes a private chef, our guests don’t usually go into the kitchen, but, of course, the condition of the kitchen shouldn’t be neglected. We were four couples who went for the sun and golf. This house is everything and more. With four couples we wanted king bedded rooms which they had. Beautiful home and quality furnishings including custom bedding and linens. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space for gathering. Huge yard. Jesus, the villa manager was always available and wonderful to deal with. Wanda the chef is fabulous, we had all our meals at the house! Hope to repeat the experience it was so great.

The staff are great, and attentive. The chef in particular is amazing! The house is the cherry on top… photos do not show how large the home actually is, we spent a ton of time in the pool/hot tub 10 out of 10!

Make sure when renting this home that you specify what you expect from the staff in terms of service i.e., meal service, executing the meals in a timely manner, appointing the table with table settings, making sure everything that would normally go on the table does so you don’t have to continue asking for the obvious such as milk and sugar for the coffee, putting all the food out at the same time once everyone is seated, serving the guests, asking what else is needed. Basic communication. The property manager should fully train the staff in a manner that is expected in a villa rental of that upscale caliber.

Beautiful property in a great location. Very clean. Nice to have all restaurants, golf, and beaches within a golf cart drive (15 minutes max) great safe way to get around on what felt like your own private resort. Would definitely come back.

We enjoyed the experience at Casa de Campo at Las Canas 20. The staff was excellent and accommodating. The house was extremely clean. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor space, the Outdoor TV and the pool/hot tub. We had some amazing meals prepared by the chef. Can’t miss the Seafood Paella!!! All in all we had a great time at Las Canas 20!!!

The house was a nice size with comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms, a nice pool… somewhat close to the beach but not close to the marina. However, while the staff is very nice, we had a fly problem in the dining room which did not make meals enjoyable. Also, check out took a long time. At this price point you’d expect things be facilitated a lot faster. It was also a bit confusing.
Manager’s response: Hi Carolina, thank you for your feedback and please receive our apologies for not being able to give you the best experience possible. Unfortunately, you arrived just after a large tropical depression had passed, which increased the fly population around the resort. The staff should have noticed the fly problem, but they didn’t take any initiative and our villa manager was not informed about the issue – as far as I understand. That number of flies is not normal. We have taken measures to reduce the fly problem at the villa, and things are back to normal again. There are things that we are doing both in the kitchen and the dining room.
Regarding the checkout, we always strive to make the checkout as fast as possible, but if we have to collect new credit card and billing address information at that time (as in your case), it may take longer than usual. We are very sorry that you did not have a great vacation experience and will do our very best to make sure we do better, should you wish to return to the Dominican Republic again. This house is the perfect spot for couples on vacation together! Hard to beat 5 bedrooms, all with King beds. Incredible master suite. Amazing, very large outdoor covered patio and fabulous pool and hot tub. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the chef made a spectacular breakfast each morning and 1 great dinner, but we enjoyed eating out at the resort for lunches and most dinners. Definitely recommend renting additional golf carts for larger groups. The resort is large and spread out and you’ll want a ride! Would absolutely stay here again!!

Our family have been traveling to Casa de Campo for over 10 years and this was one of the best trips ever. This year we decided to stay at Las Canas 20, and the villa was perfect. 4 rooms with 2 King Size beds each, and a spacious Master Suite.
From the moment we booked, Anders & Joseph took great care of us.
They helped us plan everything from our menu selections to tee-times at Teeth of the Dog. When we arrived Joseph and the inhouse staff greeted us with welcome drinks, and Mejia (the chef) had made some great snacks for us. During our stay, we were spoiled with some of the best food we have ever had. Normally we go out to restaurants a lot, but after having tasted Mejia’s food the first night, we decided to dine at home. The outdoor lounge area with the tapanyaki cooking station and BBQ was where most evenings were spend. While the kids were playing in the garden (playing soccer), we (the adults) were relaxing having a glass of wine from the wine cellar.
We have stayed in many houses in Casa de Campo, but the whole experience we had in Las Cans 20, was above and beyond. We have already booked another stay in this fantastic villa this fall.
We can only recommend this villa for anyone going to Casa de Campo. It is new, fresh, modern, functional and the staff is fantastic. Thank you Joseph for everything you did for us!!!
