Have a fabulous vacation staying at Casa Bonita in Punta Cana

Casa Bonita in Punta Cana

Casa Bonita is a 5-bedroom villa located at Cocotal Golf & Country Club – right in the heart of Bavaro, Punta Cana. This gorgeous villa is perfect for a private, yet affordable villa vacation experience in one of the Caribbean’s most popular destinations. Prices start at US$ 550 per night for the villa (low season).

The villa sleeps a total of 10 persons in 5 bedrooms, which all have their own, private bathroom. Children are welcome, so this villa will work both for a family vacation or an “adults only” vacation.

Casa Bonita is easy to get to. Just a quick, 25-30 min drive from Punta Cana airport, and you’ll be at the entrance of Cocotal Golf & Country Club, a gated golf course residential.

You’ll be close to the local life of the town when you stay here. We suggest that you rent 1-2 small cars to get around town or transportation services can be provided if you’re not comfortable driving on your own.

Just across the street from the residential area you’ll find the Palma Real Shopping Village, a large shopping mall with restaurants, bars, shops, cinema, supermarket and Jewel nightclub.

Bavaro Beach is about a 5-10 min drive from Casa Bonita, and you have access either by Los Corales, by Jellyfish Restaurant or by Bibijagua. The easiest ways to get down to the beach would be either by Jellyfish or Bibijagua, which are both easy to find along the main road.

Alternatively, you could go to Pearl Beach Club Punta Cana – the hottest new beach club in town. As a guest staying at Casa Bonita, you’ll have exclusive VIP access to Pearl and complimentary transportation! Pearl is located in the area of Cabeza de Toro, about 20-25 min drive from the villa. This is the place to spend the day. You can rent a poolside cabana ($) or just lounge on the beach. And, of course, you can have drinks/cocktails, lunch, snacks and dinner there too. There’s lot of space and usually not too many people, especially if you come during the week. On weekends, there are usually theme parties or performances by guest DJs.

Regardless of what kind of vacation you’re looking for, you’ll find it in Punta Cana. If you’re a golfer, you’ll have plenty of courses nearby, including the 3 oceanside courses Corales, La Cana and Punta Espada! Corales golf course is the host of the PGA Web.com tour (June 2-5, 2016) and Punta Espada has been named the #1 course in the Caribbean & Mexico by Golfweek Magazine.

If you’re a beach and ocean lover, well…Punta Cana has some of the best beaches in the Caribbean! Bavaro Beach (5-10 min from the villa) is world famous for its powdery white sand and crystal clear ocean. You should also head out to Juanillo Beach at Cap Cana (considered one of the best beaches in the Dominican Republic) and Macao Beach (a surfer’s paradise).

Scuba diving is popular in Punta Cana as well, and you’ll find the best diving locations by Puntacana Resort & Club (close to the airport). Of course, there’s also deep-sea fishing, catamaran sailing, speedboats, snorkeling and swimming with dolphins available, which is always fun to do.

If the water is not really your thing, you have plenty of land activities to do! You can go on a cultural safari to learn about the country’s history, lifestyle and see how people live away from the touristic areas. You can go see how cigars are made, drive a dune buggy, a Segway, a Mini Cooper or ride a horse! You can go zip lining, or visit the country’s capitol (a UNESCO site)…there’s so much to explore!

Or you could just hang out at the villa and lounge by the pool.

Whatever you like to do, you’ll have a fabulous vacation staying at Casa Bonita in Punta Cana!
